Feeding of game in the winter period, which is carried out in December and January, due to the lack of food in nature.
We feed with corn, wheat, coarse salt and minerals for small game and large game. Hundreds of kilograms of hay and grain food are left at several locations for feeding small migratory and large game, because of great interest for the N.P.P. is the protection in all regions of the park territory.
The Pelister Infocenter in New Year’s attire! Everything is ready for the New Year’s bazaar “The Taste of Pelister” as part of the Winter Story of the Municipality of Bitola organized by the JUNP Pelister.
We are pleased to inform you about the first steps in the Pelister National Park in the first 10 days. We have installed 12 new benches on the Kopanki and Markovo Kopito plateaus, the roof of the administrative building has been renovated, the Pelister NP Infocenter has been arranged on the ground floor and activities have begun for a water connection, the activity “Your Time is Your Impact” was implemented with the NGO Sphere International to raise public awareness for a clean environment and we actively participated in cleaning the road from the village of Magarevo to H. Molika, after the heavy snowfall.
These are initial steps, but very important for us due to the support from the Municipality of Bitola, the public enterprises AD ESM, and a large number of private businessmen and residents.

On 29.11.2024, the Director of the Pelister National Park, and also the President of the Cycling Federation of Macedonia, Ivancho Toshevski, met with the President of the Cycling Federation of Turkey and the Balkan Federation, Mr. Emin Muftioglu.
Together with Mr. Emin, they met with Dr. Bilal Sudzubişi – Chief Executive Officer of HALK BANKA, and with Dr. Berkan Imeri – Executive Director of HALK BANKA, at which they agreed on future support for the Macedonian national VFM team.
With Minister Borko Ristevski, they agreed on a new meeting at the ministerial level for sports and tourism between Macedonia and Turkey to be held in Bitola, to expand cooperation between the two countries in several areas. The Director of NP Pelister presented the potential offered by Pelister and the wider region in terms of tourism development.
Pelister National Park continues with environmental education and raising public awareness among students for nature protection, developing positive environmental practices and behavior in nature.
