Permanent Exhebition – Worl War I

Within the Pelister National Park there is a special hiking trail, called the Historical Trail, dedicated to the First World War and the events on Pelister, Baba Mountai, Bitola and the surrounding area at that period. In addition to the numerous data on the boards placed on the trail, which starts from the Info-Center and leads to the Hotel Molika, in the Info-Center there is a permanent exhibition with photos from the First World War.

Specific of those photos is that most of them were recorded during the WWI on the terrains of Pelister and Baba Mountain, in the period from 1914-1917. Photos testify to the events in this part of the Macedonian or so-called. Thessaloniki front. At that time, until the breaking the front bythe Entente, Pelister and Baba Mountai were the main strongholds of the Central Powers, which were deployed on this mountain.
