Twenty years later, research suggests the\u00a0<strong>European tree\u00a0frog<\/strong> <em>(Hyla arborea)\u00a0<\/em>and the \u00a0<strong>Marsh frog<\/strong>\u00a0 <em>(Pelophylax ridibundus)<\/em>, in 2004. to be added to the list: <strong>Yellow-bellied toad<\/strong> <em>(Bombina variegata)<\/em> and <strong>Agile frog<\/strong> <em>(Rana dalmati\u043fa).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-736\" src=\"http:\/\/pelister.development.ivote.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Saren-Dozdovnik-Fire-Salamander-Salamandra-salamandra-copy-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Saren-Dozdovnik-Fire-Salamander-Salamandra-salamandra-copy-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Saren-Dozdovnik-Fire-Salamander-Salamandra-salamandra-copy-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Saren-Dozdovnik-Fire-Salamander-Salamandra-salamandra-copy.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-737\" src=\"http:\/\/pelister.development.ivote.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/61-gorska-zaba-1-300x203.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/61-gorska-zaba-1-300x203.jpg 300w, https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/61-gorska-zaba-1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 330px) 100vw, 330px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The first systematic and purposeful research was published in 2006 (Sidorovska et al. 2006), F<b>ire salamander<\/b>\u00a0(<i>Salamandra salamandra<\/i>),\u00a0 <strong>Common newt<\/strong> (<em>Lissotriton vulgaris<\/em>), and the\u00a0<b>Macedonian crested newt<\/b>\u00a0(<i><b>Triturus macedonicus)<\/b><\/i>, the \u00a0were added. The last published petrological data for Pelister were published in 2015 and 2016, where the <strong>Macedonian crested newt <\/strong>(<i>Triturus macedonicus<\/i>) and the <strong>Agile frog<\/strong> (<em>Rana dalmati\u043fa<\/em>) were recorded. The <strong>Alpine newt\u00a0<\/strong> <em>(Ichthyosaura alpestris)<\/em> was registered in Malo Ezero, in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>By compiling the literary data with the field research of amphibians at Pelister, <strong>a list of 12 species of amphibians<\/strong> were determine taxa, as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alpine newt\u00a0<\/strong> &#8211; <em>Ichthyosaura alpestris,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Common newt<\/strong> &#8211; <em>Lissotriton vulgaris<\/em>,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Macedonian crested newt<\/strong> &#8211; <i>Triturus macedonicus<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fire salamander<\/strong> &#8211; <em>Hula arborea,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Marsh frog<\/strong> &#8211; <em>Pelophylax ridibundus,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Agile frog<\/strong> &#8211;<em> Rana Dalmatina,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Greek stream frog<\/strong> &#8211; <em>Rana graeca<\/em> u<\/p>\n<p><strong>Common Frog<\/strong> &#8211;<em> Rana temporaria<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/pelister.development.ivote.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/70-mrmorec-1-300x197.jpg\" width=\"361\" height=\"237\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-743\" src=\"http:\/\/pelister.development.ivote.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/P9110046-copy-1-300x238.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"238\" srcset=\"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/P9110046-copy-1-300x238.jpg 300w, https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/P9110046-copy-1.jpg 606w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Two species of amphibian\u00a0 with tails:<strong> Macedonian crested newt<\/strong> &#8211; <i>Triturus macedonicus<\/i> and <strong>Common newt<\/strong> &#8211; <em>Lissotriton vulgaris <\/em>appear with only one data found, on the very borders of the park, in the Rotino Lake.<\/p>\n<p>Other amphibians, such as <strong>European toad, European green toad, Yellow-bellied toad, European tree frog, Marsh frog<\/strong> and <strong>Greek stream frog<\/strong>, are widely distributed horizontally and vertically throughout the park.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-740\" src=\"http:\/\/pelister.development.ivote.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Gorska-zaba-Agile-frog-Rana-dalmatina-copy-300x223.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Gorska-zaba-Agile-frog-Rana-dalmatina-copy-300x223.jpg 300w, https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Gorska-zaba-Agile-frog-Rana-dalmatina-copy.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-744\" src=\"http:\/\/pelister.development.ivote.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSCN0040-1-1-300x218.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"306\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSCN0040-1-1-300x218.jpg 300w, https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/DSCN0040-1-1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 306px) 100vw, 306px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Only <strong>Agile frog<\/strong> and the<strong> Fire Salamander\u00a0<\/strong> have a limited vertical distribution of up to 1700 m, as they are closely connected to the forest belt.<\/p>\n<p>Also, <strong>Common Frog<\/strong> has a limited distribution only in the streams and spring parts of the rivers at an altitude of 1400 to 2100 meters above sea level.<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":735,"template":"","fauna_category":[11,30],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/faunas\/662"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/faunas"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/faunas"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/735"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=662"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"fauna_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/park-pelister.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/fauna_category?post=662"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
